From the Desk of the Prez ~ By Terry Tippett Several members made the annual trip to the Dream Cruise, in that state up north. I truly believe this is one trip anyone interested in any kind of car needs to make. You will see about any kind of car ever made and some cars you never dreamed anyone would make. We spent all day Friday and Saturday just cruising and looking at cars and had a great time. Our QS&L Saturday night August Cruise-In saw a larger car count than normal as we picked up some new club members and had a great time. I would like to thank Rod Wilson and his Cruise-In crew for the great job they have been doing all summer. Thank you, also, to Morgan, Harley, Mike, and Wayne for the Auto-Cross events they have been running. Thank you to Denise and Jay for the Web site and newsletter that they put so much time and work into. What a great job they do! Any member wanting to work the FallSuperSwap Meet please contact either Kevin (614-265-9095) or Terry (740-607-1451) and don't forget any member working will receive a free year membership for a full days help. We are always looking for stories and articles for the web site and newsletter. Send them to Denise or Jay at 614-861-0053 or email nuttjay@yahoo.com. In September we have our last Auto-Cross on Sunday, the 21st, and the last Cruise-In of the year on Saturday the 27th. Hope to see you at both of these events. Reminder: -Beginning September 3, 2008 the starting time for UFO meeting will change from 7:30 pm to 7:00 pm. - Club Elections coming up--Officer Nominations --Nov 19th Election night--Dec 10th. |

Motion Amendment: -Cruise-In Attendance Incentive. (Members only) It was approved by majority of attending members at the 9/3 membership meeting that the awarding of the $100 gas card will take place at the final cruise-in on 9/27 instead of at the Awards Banquet in January as approved in the original motion. |

SuperSwap Vendor Mailing: Attending members at the 9/3 meeting prepared (1000+) mucho packets of info to send out to vendor prospects. I think this means the smell of 'FallSuperSwap' is in the air. ' Tis the season ' |
